I expect you to be better..
Two thousand and twelve. You are going to be everything I look for in a “good year”. You’re going to be what I make you and I will make you a better year. Better than 2011, mark my words. It is the second day of the year and I’ve decided to make a daily tumblr record of the things that make each day exceptional because instead of complaining and bitching about all the things that go wrong, I’m going to praise and cherish the things that make the day worth living. So day 2 of 2012: - I’ve convinced a good friend that his current girlfriend is a crazy bitch and she’s not worth keeping: “The problem with you is that you’re clinging on to the false hope that she’ll be the answer to your loneliness and people like you fear loneliness and commit to people like her because she’ll help you with the loneliness, but impair you everywhere else. […] I’m not saying I’m the one you can latch on to once she’s gone, but damn it, [anonymous]. She’s not the best thing out there, and face it, with 7 billion people in the world, she never fucking was!” It’s going to be a good year every one. Get rid of the excess baggage you don’t need. Change is scary but the result is usually worth the risk. Take it.
